Questions
What does the free website analyzer check?
Thirty live checks in five sections. GEO and AI readiness covers answer engine access in robots.txt, training crawler policy, whether your content is served in the HTML, AI opt out tags, llms.txt and content feeds. Technical covers HTTPS, the http to https redirect, indexability, the www and bare domain, robots.txt, the XML sitemap, 404 handling, canonical and hreflang. Content covers the title tag, meta description, H1, heading structure, image alt text and link structure. Schema reads JSON-LD, microdata and RDFa, and checks business identity and rich result markup. Infrastructure reads DNS A, www, MX, SPF, DMARC and nameservers live. Google PageSpeed Insights runs alongside and is shown on its own.
Do I need an account to run an audit?
No. Anyone can run an audit and see the full score, every section bar, and every check in all five sections, including GEO and AI readiness in full. What a free account adds is the prescription: the full ranked fix list instead of the single highest impact one, the written read, and every audit kept in your workspace. Pro is for fixing what the audit finds, with the Studio, the visual editor and git import.
How is the score calculated?
Every check returns pass, warn or fail and carries a weight inside its section. Section scores roll up with technical at 30 percent, content at 25 percent, GEO and AI readiness at 25 percent and schema at 20 percent. Infrastructure checks are scored inside the technical weight rather than as a fifth score, because a domain that cannot resolve is a technical fact. A warning earns partial credit rather than half by default, and a check that could not run is marked skipped and left out of the maths instead of being guessed. Google's speed scores are shown on their own and do not move the number.
What is GEO and why does it lead the report?
GEO is generative engine optimisation, the work of being readable and quotable by the engines that answer questions instead of listing links. It leads because it is the cheapest thing to get wrong and the least measured. A single Disallow line in robots.txt can lock out the crawler that would have cited you inside ChatGPT or Perplexity, and nothing in a normal SEO report will tell you. The analyzer tests each answer crawler against your actual rules and reports what it found, rule text included.
Where does my report open?
In the workspace, at your project. The report is written into your project automatically the moment the run finishes, so there is no Save button to forget and the report is still there when you come back. Running a second domain creates a second project rather than replacing the first.
What happens if the site cannot be read?
You get one honest line and no score. If the domain does not resolve, sits behind a bot challenge, returns a server error or shows a parking page, the analyzer says exactly that and scores nothing. Nothing is scored from a page we did not read, so a report you see is always a report about your real site.
